Um. About the best I can say is that at least they wouldn't be looking to take advantage of our pass defense!!

Of course, they'd lay 400 rushing yards on us....

Honestly I don't know. We don't play with good fundamentals or any discipline to speak of, which are the two most important things to have when you're playing a triple-option offense.

I think we should move the ball, but the defense hasn't stepped up all year so to think it would at this point in the season would probably be a bit naive of me..

i live in Atlanta and i see it first hand, GT can not throw the ball whatsoever. They beat UGA while completing one 19 yard pass in the fist quarter.

I think that would be a very interesting game.. I would like to see that option offense v/s LSU's D..I would think that LSU would be favored by about 7 but with the way GT is up and down from week to week, who knows....

Do we get to have a new DC before the game? If so, I say we can beat them. If no new DC, they'll have 350 yards on the ground.

Ya gotta love it when your team can score 45 while completing 1 pass.

Many fans think coaching is crucial to a good passing game but seem to think that running the ball is simply a matter of brute force. Johnson proves this wrong everywhere he goes.

And we can't fricking run the ball for shite so we say it's cause of our QBs and the fact teams stack the line.

Um. Maybe our coaches should talk to Johnson in the off season????

I can't think of anything that indicates Johnson is 10 times the coach of anyone on our staff more than the fact that his team came in 3rd in the nation in rushing while installing a TOTALLY NEW offense in season one while at the same time, his protege ran that offense at Navy and led the nation in rushing.

To say that obviously he knows something his opponents do not would be an understatement extraordinare!!!!

True..I think with some more game exp and maybe some tweaking of his throwing mechanics, the freshman kid will be a hoss one of these days.. I know that doesnt help that much right now though...

I'd say 450+ ... provided GT has 1 or less turnover.

To defend the flexibone (a modified triple option with a twist ) requires DISCIPLINE.

To beat GT or anyone right now, would take a lot of pride and discipline, something our team has not shown this season.

Think about it, the team in disarray, coaching changes, pissed bone headers. We need some healing time before we are ready to play anyone and win.

Take off the glasses. We would get killed. The option would absolutely destroy us.
