Pick your battles. Sometimes responding to the ridiculousness breaths life into the argument and legitimizes the argument. Best to say nothing right now. It's not getting massive coverage.

the problem is that they never actually pick any battles. I used to think like you - be above the mudslinging. i no longer think like that. this shite needs to be aggressively countered every single time by every single person it affects. every Republican in congress needs to reply to this kind of shite with the same fervor and vigor and anger that Trump does.
