Our service member's identities are not classfied, even if they are active in SMUs. Blurring out faces was a trend started by people on airsoft forums to try and seem cool and in the know. Hell, there's an active duty Delta OTC instructor with a public IG.
There's some debate on whether these guys are Delta or whatever new acronym the Army came up with for CIF companies.

Though I will say, the way this was treated compared to how Trump's photo with SEALs in Iraq is extremely hypocritical by the media.

I’m not even going to pretend like I know what I’m talking about, but are you sure about this? I’ve seen many retired guys share pics of their time in country with others who have faces blurred. Some have even said it’s to protect their identity. I’ve read that DEVGRU Green and Delta OTC guys are never blurred because they aren’t overseas and are only involved with training so their identity being known isn’t that big of a deal. Again, not saying that’s correct but I’ve 100% seen guys blue out faces.
