I couldn't afford a mortgage until I saved for 6 years. That was in the 90s. But kids these days think they deserve everything right now.

Lmfao sir I make a good amount of money (multi 6 figures) but the cheapest houses are roughly 1M. Assume 20% and let’s say I live a super frugal life, that still takes 4 years to save up. Now imagine a normal American
