It’s hard for college graduates to find jobs in some dying town in the middle of nowhere.

There are plenty of jobs in small towns. Do an indeed search.
The real problem is that young people want to be close to bars, restaurants, concerts. I can’t fault them for this, but this is what they are paying for.
You can buy a $200k home in Corpus Christi or literally any small city in texas and there are tons of jobs. But it’s not fun. It’s hick. Whatever. Their loss
