I just use one of my better bass rigs to fish soft plastics inshore. Baitcasters are more accurate and easier to detect bites with. I actually only own one spin cast and I rarely use it. Just not a fan of the feel. I like big open face reels for catching bulls. I only use spincast if I have too.
