Zoat works well for most stuff. For set in stains, saturate the stain with ammonia, squirt it with oxy clean stain remover, let it set for a few hours and wash with warm water. I recently got some 30% ammonia and using the method above cleaned oil stains that had been set in for years in some old blue jeans, shorts and shirts. One shirt was a really nice, expensive dress shirt had a big oil blotch on the front and I didn't have the heart to throw away. Tried all kinds of stuff over the past year that lightened it by about 60% but it was still unwearable. The ammonia + oxyclean spray got it out 100%, you can't even tell it was ever there looking at it up close.
