Pretty sure I remember a story about him taking a bite out of a golf ball when pissed off. Balata days of course

I asked him about that getting his autograph at the USFG and he said, "Kid, do you believe everything you read?"
I thought he was just a mean dude; but he taught me an important life lesson at 8 years old.

Seemed like a character. Had a girlfriend tell me he hit on her after a round at the Byron Nelson one time.
