They let women in infantry now, why not put them in the selective service?

My 20 year old has wanted to the last 2 years. since the election was stolen I strongly frowned upon this little side path in his life plan. I knew any wars after Jan 6th would all be orchestrated for profit for the global “elites”. I told him I’d prefer he not potentially shed his blood to line their pockets and further their twisted UnAmerican agendas, but ultimately it was his decision. Thankfully he decided to stay in school. He still talks about it every now and then though.
A few if his close friends joined after their Freshman year of college because college just wasn’t their thing. 2 joined straight out of high school for the money. There still are solid young men joining (Not soy boys). My friend’s son from Indiana is in the army. He’s 23. and stationed in Poland right now. Got there about 2wks ago. Good kid. His buddies with him look to be like good soldiers as well. I know he made some good friends when he went through training.

I don't know if it is BS or not, but I knew a lot of people in the Army with 6 or more. If you did a full career and it spanned from 2000 forward, there's not a bad chance you did 6.
Hell, I did 3 and I was fortunate to avoid 2 just by dumb luck.
well to be fair Marines only do 4 month deployment cycles. they don't have the same capabilities of the US Army Infantry Brigade Combat Team.
so 2 Marine deployment is considered 1 Army combat tour. my unit from the 101st did 15 months in Afghanistan. that is like three Marine deployments.

WTF are you talking about? “Four months”….LOL. I wish. A deployment is a minimum of six months…and are often extended to a year or more, depending on what’s going on. Our deployments are either spent on a ship or in country somewhere. We have a six month “work up” prior to all planned deployments. In between deployments, we spend weeks and months at a time all over the world training. I was army for two years prior to joining the Corps…Marines deploy differently than the army, but we spend twice the amount of time separated from our families.
Before you ask…0331/0341 then 0369. Besides my time as an instructor at the School of Infantry (B-billet) and 1.5 years as an instructor at SOTG, I never left the battalions. I saw my wife for maybe 12 months of our first four years married.
