At first I thought $4,400 for complete sets with doors, drawers, hardware, painting, etc. wasn't too terrible. Then I kept reading.
frickity frick that's wild. Not implying you overpaid or anything, because apparently that's the going rate. It's just wild!!! $4,400 for a couple of bookshelves and some crown moulding?

All told would've added 429sq ft to the house but was all already covered under the roof. Had biddable plans drawn and a contractor gave us a bid - $154k (~$350/Sq ft). Just insane. Construction costs are just out of control.

Whoa! I built 5 sets of shelves and base cabinets plus crown several years ago. I need to get a side gig!
ETA… this was my inspiration and mine look like this without the sconces. Think someone would pay $10k-$12k for this?
