No they wouldn’t have. The IARP ruled on Kansas’s case, not the NCAA. Same for NC St., Arizona, Memphis, and Louisville. And guess what NOTHING OF SIGNIFICANT NOTE happened to any of those schools. The only school that was investigated by the NCAA (not the IARP wing) was Oklahoma St. They fully cooperated with the NCAA. In return, they received…a postseason ban.

Hindsight is 20/20. But is is clear now LSU didn’t have to fire Wade to save the program. It was a (purposeful) overreaction by an AD who wanted to get rid of a HC he didn’t hire and he felt was a pain in the arse.

What is done is done though, and I hope McMahon has a great season. That’s all you can do at this point

It has taken a while but I have finally let it go. One can only hope that McMahon can bring us, at least a competitive team, if not a championship one this year. I will, as always, support the Tigers whoever the coach is. And since we haven't played a game yet, I am optimistic until proven different that we will have a decent team this year. On paper they look promising but SEC games on the road will prove whether this is reality or not.
