Here's another one, again, Mariners related:

Friends and I (4 of us) were standing next to the Brewers dugout as they finished BP, and Cecil Cooper walked by. We offered our gloves for him to sign (and we were polite, it was always "Mr. So-and-So", never rude or demanding). He dead-eyed all of us, then stopped, right in front of us (if we had wanted to touch him, we could have), stopped, kneeled, and re-tied each of his shoes, while staring right at us.

Then, he stood up and walked into the dugout.

As we're watching him walk in the dugout, Paul Molitor approached us and took our gloves and signed all of them and said "that guy's a huge a-hole" in reference to Cecil Cooper. Molitor (and Moose Haas) hung around and talked with us for about 10 minutes, both guys were very cool and made up for bizarre snub by Cooper.
