In addition to my advice above, forcing yourself to get out of bed, showering, and getting ready for the day (even if you have nowhere to be) can completely change your outlook on the day and yourself.

If you look in the mirror and see a guy that’s been in his pajamas all day and hasn’t shaved or washed his hair and groomed himself, then you will think you’re that guy.

You’re NOT that guy.

I always liked the advice about making your bed in the morning. I started doing it when I was single and wild, and I think it helped get me where I am now.
