Tips on growing Staghorn Ferns?

Have several on mounted boards. Keep a plastic bin in my greenhouse full of water and submerge the ferns until all the air bubbles stop (fully soaked). Had to do it twice a week this summer but usually every 7-10 days. Thats about it.
