I was discussing for a conference championship but I would argue that we in fact do control our destiny for a national championship as well.

We don't even for the SEC West, do you people not understand what controlling your own destiny means?

In a scenario where we win out who is going to keep out the SEC champion who just beat number 1 Georgia?

We could win out and not even be the SEC West champs.

And if we do win out and there is an undefeated PAC-12 (USC, Washington, or Oregon), Big 12(Oklahoma), Big10(Ohio State, Michigan, or Penn St,), and ACC champ that beat us(FSU), do you really think we get in.

I'm a pumper and even I don't have P&G glasses shaded that dark. A two-loss LSU, even as the SEC champ, with the narrative going on that the SEC is down will need a lot of help to get a berth in the CFP.

“For all intents and purposes”

Meaning there is zero way that ole miss beats Georgia.

At which point ole miss will have 2 sec losses

We absolutely do control our destiny for the west. Win out and we are in because there is zero chance in hell Ole Miss is beating Georgia.

With an OM loss to either or both UGA or A&M, we do again. We do have a slightly easier path than they do, as unlikely as it is that we win out.
