Older mobile home without central unit. Looking to install split unit AC/Heat unit. Wondering if anyone has one and does it put out enough ac/heat.
Window unit has a heat unit but doesn't warm up the trailer that much during the winter. Not as concerned with the cooling side because I do have ac window units to offset.
I know winters in Louisiana aren't that extreme but small kids involved
Thanks

The heat on mine works just as well as the cold. The ubit just reversed itself and blows cold out the outside unit when the heat is on.

Yes, it works well.

Since you mentioned "older mobile home," I'm assuming you likely want to do this as economically as possible.

Since winters in LA are very mild, what about something like this: "Amish Heater"

My mom uses these to heat her older house. Not hot to the touch.
