Arrive in Deer Park at 7AM weekdays?

Doable. Still a long drive but at that time, no traffic and smooth sailing. I do Woodlands to Energy Corridor 3 days a week and if I leave before 6 am, it's 45 min or less.

return trip to Spring at about 4PM?

Houston traffic is worst at 5, but many people start heading out at 4. That commute will be 3 hours a few times a month when there awful traffic. I chose where I live because I'm in sales and my customers change every few years. I can live anywhere and will eventually have a shitty commute. However I can also leave as early as I want if my work is covered. Permanently expecting to have that commute and knowing I'd have to stay until 4 would be a no go for me.
