We have a 2013 Avalon and 2016 Highlander, bought in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Both are paid off now and they'll last us a long time still, so I haven't looked at new or used cars since 2018. This thread made me go look.
My jaw dropped. We got a 2016 Highlander Limited with 50k miles in 2018 for less than what a barebones Corolla of similar age and mileage costs now. Crazy.
