i for one can't wait for this kid to have a whole winter, spring, and fall session under his belt with the majority of reps. he seems really intelligent and can grasp things in a hurry.

I was just excited to not see a freaking pick six in the last game.

no shite, I kept thinking 'sacks are a good thing, no pick 6'. The announcer was saying how a more experienced QB would have thrown it away, but shite, a sack is a step up in my book.

imagine what he would have looked like with a few more snaps under his belt!

The lone VERY bright spot last Friday. Kid has serious moxie and passion. It was refreshing to witness.

I have been impressed with Peterson as well.

when he is in the game i don't find myself gasping for air as soon as he takes his 3 or 5 step drop. i did that every time Lee dropped back.

This is why I can't stand the stupid arse CBS announcers.
If you see that this is an 18yr old kid starting for the first time and did a damn good job of not turning the ball over, then this is a major improvement from the rest of the season.

I don't think he'll ever be able to scratch his ceiling until his mechanics are better.

Give him time. Again like I said only 18yrs old.
Can you name the last 18 yr old we starting at QB?
