Our last Boykin spaniel passed a couple months back. Decided it was time for another. Man, you really do forget how much havoc a puppy can create. She’s settling in and learning quickly where she fits in.

Beautiful pup!
Do all male puppies just pee everywhere with zero warning? I don't remember our female dog doing that. She used the puppy pads. He uses the puppy pads to nap on. We take him outside all the time and he'll come back inside and pee in the house. He's also an ankle biter. Other than that, he's pretty good and very cute.

Where’d she come from? We had to put down our 6 year old male boykin in February due to cancer. My wife and I were just talking yesterday evening about how our 11 year old GSP is slowing down so we’ll probably be getting a pup within the next year. A female boykin is at the top of my list.

Keep them in a kennel. When you get them out of the kennel, immediately take them outside.
Don't bring them in until they use the bathroom. When they do use the bathroom reap praise on them.
OP, beautiful pup, congratulations.

I got her from a breeder in Georgia. This is where my last one came from. Very easy to deal with and great dogs. When I got my first one, he flew him to me in NOLA, but he doesn't do that anymore. He has a guy that will deliver. You pay him based on where you are located, or you can go and pick up if you are close enough. I opted for delivery.
