re: Since bears have been in the news lately. Have you ever seen one

In Colorado living in Roxborough Park near Arrowhead Golf Course. Bears, Mountain Lions, Coyotes, etc.

There is a park at the entrance to Roxborough and we were there with my 1-2 year old son kicking a ball and slides etc. While I was holding him on the swing there was a bear, about 300 plus lbs. coming down the draw running towards us.

I stood with my son watching what it would do and it continued towards us up to the 4 foot fence. Once it started climbing the fence we sprinted to our truck ready to drive away, and it came to the swing set area still looking at us.

I don't know which one of us he was focused on eating, but that was an incredible adrenaline rush.
