Did this trip about 2 months ago.....full disclosure, my wife and I are not wine drinkers so the tours weren't on our agenda. We struggled to find things to do after the first day of walking up and down the main drag through the shops. We hiked Enchanted twice (actually on the same day....early morning and late evening for the sunset....which was the highlight of the trip). The entire town shuts down around 9 so there's not much in the way of night life

I guess if you enjoy wine it would be a much more enjoyable trip since there are many vineyards to choose from (many of which are impressive). Just not my vibe.

I wanted to check out the museum, on our last day but it closed at 4:00. What I did get to see was impressive....wished I had spent more time there rather than the main drag in the souvenir shops.

Hope this helps

If you don't enjoy going to wineries I can't imagine even going to Fredricksburg, unless you are going out there for Oktoberfest or the Christmas stuff.

Just being AT a winery without even liking wine is wonderful, to me.
