you need to do more research than posting on this place, you can't just blow off things that you need to learn in the classroom just because you don't like it, that's probably the majority of hs school sophomores, you can live hand to mouth for the rest of your life if you just blow off education and think all you need is baw skills, much better to know how to do the grunt work and be the boss than have no other option than to be the grunt

na didnt you know, every south louisiana coonass makes 6 figures being in the trades.

people on this board are so full of frickin shite when it comes to the trades. most have nothing to do with the trades and read a headline and have this romantic notion of working with your hands all day. they rail against people going to college like it is so so so common, yet only about 25% have a degree. they act like everyone has one and is just working at McDonalds with it.

LSU777 is 100% correct...very few tradesmen in any area making $100k a year. I doubt seriously if ANY electrician, plumber or the like is doing so in Louisiana and NOT working what would amount to nearly 2 years for most people every year...7-12s is 4 hours more a week than having 2 full time jobs. Working OT is a problem in the trades...if a person is not interested in working 6 and 7 days a week 10-12 hours a day they will have a hard time in the trades most likely.
