San Diego has 5th street m-f until 5pm you can drive on it,Saturday and Sunday it is pedestrian only they have vendors .
It is extremely clean and well run.
Neither of these can the city of New Orleans provide.

There was no corner of culture smoking weed, of trash cans filled and garbage placed on the sidewalk.

It was a my reaction was this probably what bourbon street was like in the 50's

Royal Street is like this every day.
