Now I was confused. I have been eating pizza all my life, and I have always called a slice of cheese pizza a plain slice.

What would you expect to get in New Haven if you ordered a plain pie? I know you have been because you rated Sally's on the Food Board.

ETA I love riding ferries. BTW did you ever get to ride the Hover Ferry from Dover to Boulogne? Shame the Chunnel killed them.

Friend,

I do not know. Every time I have been to Sally's it has been with Uncle, who went to law school at Yale. He ordered for us and ordered "with mootz." I would assume if you ordered a plain pie there, you would get tomato sauce and perhaps a dusting of real grated Parm, but not the mootz most have come to expect with a cheese pie.

The Dover Ferry was before my time. I have taken the Chunnel on three round trips. It is quite the boring adventure. We learned about it in a science or geography class and watched a show on PBS about it being built. What a letdown it was the first time riding through a dark tunnel for a half hour or however long it was.

brehan davey, any way you can avoid spending time in Mobile, AL is a good way. I too try to go that route as often as family allows it.

SuperSaint, the 2023 Radkos are splendid! Several stores I have visited in Leavenworth and New Orleans already have them on display. If you bring the catalog, and perhaps some photographs of your collection, everyone at the part will be edified. Have you seen Radko's new venture, Heartfully Yours? Copyright laws prevent him from using his own name, but those in the know cannot mistake his touch.

TigerRyno, you are a masterpiece.

realturffan, Canada, now there is an idea. I have never crossed into that land, but now you have my attention. We should gather an OT group to visit.

wasteland, the flowers in person were stunning. The maroon sunflower had my attention for no less than ten minutes. God is good to us.

texn, what a heart warming memory. What a lovely man your grandfather sounds like.

gumbo2176, the New Orleans ferries were a hidden treasure in New Orleans and the treasure shrinks as they discontinue routes. Add another notch in the things I do not like about cars.

RedPop4, would it not be wonderful to have an OT field trip aboard the ferries of the New Orleans Metro? Maybe Rummey or Chicken will set one up for us.

Hillabee, thank you, friend.

Yours,
TulaneLSU
