It’s not very often that my jaw drops open while reading an article as it did with this @semafor piece. There’s no two ways around this: top Obama and Biden officials were a part of a foreign influence operation by the Iranian regime, some of who are still in govt holding security clearances. This comes on top of the news that Rob Malley, Biden’s Iran envoy, had to leave his position over his security clearance being revoked

Those of you who know my FP analysis know that I try not to infuse politics into disagreements over policy. I say that to say: This should be the scandal of a generation: the world’s leading state sponsor of terrorism appears to have co-opted senior officials of the last two democratic administrations, with the purpose and achieved goal of influencing our foreign policy.

The Iran nuclear deal was a terrible mistake. It is the equivalent of finding a mass murderer and buying him a gun.

"Never Again" is the pivotal narrative for the whole US/Iranian relationship. No matter what the US does to enable the martyrdom-minded and fatalist Islamist Mullahs to get their nukes, Israel will indeed turn Iran into glass (as prophesied in the Biblical 'end time' scenario) if or when they know the Mullahs pose an existential and imminent threat. The Jews are not held back via Jesus' "turn the other cheek" narrative; they are very smart.

The Dems/Transnational Progressives are delusional. "Behold, I will send them GREAT DELUSION that they will believe a lie". Inclusion is not a virtue...as such is dependent and determined by the NATURE (good or bad) of that which is to be included. Equality being the same, as just reward if determined by relative merit.

It's insane, and a runaway train. But it'll stop, and then Humanity will pick up the pieces and get back at it.

Side note: Everybody that wants to argue at a high level should read "Dark Aeon". Humorous, eloquent and downright sobering and scary. Scared being a good thing, as that means that one does not underestimate the challenge and end up losing.

I have a neighbor who has been killing my dogs. He grabbed one of my border collies the other day and said I could get him back for $60,000.

Should I pay him?

Those most interested in the demise of the Russian and US regimes is a real possibility.

In this current political atmosphere, where the CJCS and former acting SecDef both basically openly admit to being willing to commit treason, how fricking bad/incompetent do you have to be to get your security clearance revoked?

The fact that one of the Iranian influence peddlers in this story now has a high security clearance at the Pentagon is troubling, but not surprising.

Didn't we try this already with the fake treaties?

How many more pallets is this going to cost us?
