moving a ATN Thor 4 Thermal from gun to gun

Does anyone have experience detaching this thermal scope and attaching to another rifle? Like back and forth? I know they save the settings for zeroing in the scope/gun, but I dont know the process and if you have to reset every time even if putting on the same piece of the rail.
TIA
PS finally found some 7.62x51 200gr SubSonic rounds at Jefferson Gun Outlet....they raped me on the price though lol

Do you have a QD (quick detach) mount?

no, and it was sighted in without one

was it mounted to a picatinny rail?

I've got the same thermal with the OEM quick connect mount.
Doesn't go back to zero, but will get you pretty darn close.
Easy to sight in, 2-3 rounds and you should be perfect.

It's really easy. Shoot, then move the reticle to the shot position in aiming mode, repeat once or twice, and you'll be good.

I've sighted my buddies in....took 20 rounds from about 20 yards....ridiculously hard when you cant see the impact on a target due to sunlight....the middle dont matter if you cant see where its hitting to adjust the reticle.
And yes, I'm a good shot!

Get the ATN quick disconnect mount. Sight in with bang stick #1. Save zero and call it #1. Move to bag stick #2 and sight in. Save zero and call it #2. Remember to select the appropriate zero each time you use it. I missed a pig once because I forgot to select the right zero for the gun. Don’t be like me.
