That's stretching it. 4th and 28 at their own 12 ends that drive (which gave them a FG) and gives us the ball in great field position. In a game that was won by 1 point on a TD pass with 21 seconds left, that swing is more than enough to say that it could easily have made a difference in the outcome. The fact that we could have won anyway or could have still lost without it does not mean that his "mistake" was did not make enough of a difference to change the outcome of the game.
