Ok I gotcha. The QB needs to personally go over every eligible receiver’s route before they break the huddle on each play. Makes perfect sense. It is all Jameis’ fault. How could I not know that??

How else do you explain it happening all of a sudden when Winston came in? It wasn’t just once, it happened on 3 separate drives. QBs have trouble with play calls on the road all the time in the NFL. Stadiums are loud, just FYI.

How dare I suggest that the backup QB had an issue with crowd noise and play calls today

My question is why is it an automatic assumption that Juwan ran the wrong route instead of a quarterback who once threw 36 interceptions in a single season throwing the wrong route?

Did we have a problem with Juwan running a wrong route at any other point in the game?

Why are you moving the goalposts?? Exactly how does a QB have anything to do with the route a WR runs?? The TO’s we had to waste were absolute factors in the loss. And a lot of that (maybe even most of it) is on Winston and a lot is on Carmichael. Bad play designs and the route a WR runs is not on the QB. As much as you might want it to be, it isn’t.
