We can be happy we won but still admit it was misplayed. We gave Arkansas a shot at a kick return and a hail mary against our defense that had been struggling. It was in our complete control to not allow them to have those chances but I guess we did let them have it for the fun of it?

This is the worst part of the clock management takes. "Our defense was struggling". Yes, our defense had underperformed, but scholarship players who are aware of a hail mary coming prevent it nearly all the time. They weren't stuggling vs. previous hail mary plays.

The clock management wasn't perfect, but it was acceptable.

But again, we had a choice between letting them have a hail mary attempt or not allowing them to have one. We chose the former and you're saying you're ok with that choice? Why would you even allow them the chance if you don't have to?

Ask John Elway if he regrets leaving time for a kickoff after the go-ahead FG at the end of the Cal-Stanford game in 1982. When you have a chance to win on the very last play, you grab it and leave no chance for the other team.
