There have been attempts to explain the Hubble findings. Most revolve around intergalactic distances being possibly miscalculated. The OP authors seem to discount those possibilities. They also seem to possess legitimizing credentials and field expertise.

Do you have information to the contrary, perhaps something establishing the OP as a scientifically unreasonable counterfactual?
