All are considered bad seasons, but in my opinion, UGA has had the most disappointing season. Ranked pre-season #1, with "everything" in place to win the SEC and possibly the NC, and don't even win their division, much less play for the NC. Seriously, Mark Richt needs to be fired.

Gotta be UGA. The preseason hype for them was off the charts. I remember one sports writer who wrote a story with the headline, " UGA Will Win MNC- Who Else Do They Have to Play- Themselves?"
A local company was running an ad campaign about customers getting free flooring WHEN UGA completes it undefeated MNC run.
This was easily the most hyped UGA team since the early 80's.
To go from consensus preseason #1 to out of the top 15 and not even winning it's division and losing to it's in state rival at home.
They were supposed to be the best team in the country and aren't even the best team in their own state.

What teams in the last 10-15 years have started the season ranked #1 & finished that way? Not many--if any.
Georgia played much of the season with a patch work offensive line.
Anyone that knows SEC football should have realized that UGA wasn't going to beat UF this year. After that stunt & defeat they put on the Gators last year, it wasn't going to happen.
