Agree, this was a fair question to ask here. The fact is we do have way too many unkind folks here on the rant. A lot of them remind me of the old Jim Rome and his cronies - absolutely living to be mean to others.

Our goals are in front of us unless and until they aren't.

The road to a natty is always treacherous but we have had some early help ... that said, we are really cutting it close the way we play sometimes.

But yes, doable.

Yes they have the talent, and yes the sec is down. I think the hardest games would be in the playoffs though.

In years past this would not be the case.

My two picks in the championship are Michigan, and Washington.

We haven't even beat a ranked team yet.

You saw what FSU did to this defense. Teams with elite QB’s/WR’s are going to tear us apart. I think we’re the best in the west but we just don’t have it in the secondary

Of course it is. We are favored against every team not named Bama. What hurts is that we could have made the playoff with a loss at Alabama if we beat FSU week one

We are more than a TD favorite against everyone else on our schedule besides Ole Miss and Bama. Those spreads are:

-5 LSU versus Ole Miss

+7 Bama versus Bama. Considering that Ole Miss is +7 against Bama, that spread will change and be closer to a pick em.

Uh huh

Spreads don’t mean shite

We were favored vs Tennessee and A&M last season, how’d that work out

Until CBK proves he won’t drop a game he shouldn’t, no natty predictions for LSU

No. Mississippi St was an easy opponent. New coach can really make a difference. If we smack the dog shite out of Bama and the Gators then yeah. We got a big shot, but i need to see either of those wins and they need to be substantial. Imho.

I don’t think there is a team in the country that stands out currently. Think it is a wide open field. Since defense looks down this year and teams like Washington are airing out the ball. Offense might win it this year.

It was a realistic goal to start the season. Realistically that never changed after the loss to FSU.

Sure, it was going to be harder & we didn’t look like a National contender week 1, but it’s still possible. As always we just need to focus on winning the west for now & then the SEC

Yes we have a realistic chance b/c our loss was to FSU, they need to just win out, and we are still ranked in top 12. The sec schedule is just brutal though and I worry about every sec game.

God you people are the worst. Of course it means something and just because you mention some outliers doesn't make those the norms. Teams that are heavily favored win WAY more than they get upset.

That is why they call them "upsets" doofus

If we keep winning and FSU keeps winning we will end up in the top 4

No way the SEC Champion isn’t in, even if we have 2 losses. Just have to beat Georgia.
