His helmet reminded me of the guy Maximus fought in the Roman coliseum in gladiator.

It definitely had some classical touches to it. Also the three great mothers having names that echo the names of the three Fates from Greek mythology. Add to that, Baylan and Shin's last names (Skoll and Hati) are taken from Norse mythology.

It was neat seeing the star destroyer with the "planetary" thrusters engaged and not the big main engines.

For those who have read Chuck Wendig's trilogy of books, isn't there a mention that Palpatine sensed something either in the unknown regions or outside of the galaxy that was super powerful. Could this be the same power that is calling to Baylan?

Yea, Baylan is the wolf that chases the Sun and Shin is the wolf that chases the moon.

I'm curious to see if we get any Loth Wolves since they can travel the World between Worlds. It looked like there were 3 wolves in one of the scenes of this last episode. They could have just been howlers that Sabine rode, not sure..I'd have to rewatch and pay closer attention.

I really feel like Bendu is the power that everyone is sensing. Would be neat to see another interaction between Thrawn and him.

I hope this isn't just an 8 episode show. They are doing a pretty jam up job on the storyline.
