31,190. Why the heck would you deal with carmax?

Ever think that dealers lie? Once you get in there "you only get this price if you buy the $2000 protection pack" The carmax price is a real price and you can buy it right now from your phone instead of playing dealer games. Those carmax prices are a real comp, i used them on a 2022 civic and 2023 acura. You are off on the options as well and don't forget part of being made whole is being paid TTL by the insurance company.

Carmax over-bought at the top of the market and is refusing to take a loss because they'd go bankrupt.

I found 2, 2023 options sub-2500 miles that are Premium package. $25k and $28k. It's a 500-mile search from my zip, one in Plano and one in Houston.

I imagine $38k is being VERY generous for that car. Cars.com (where both are listed) has this tidbit: Avg. market price $28,226
