rip his punter a new on for a lousy kick. I kept waiting yesterday for Les to rip somebody... anybody for a bonehead penalty, blown assignment, or just general bad play. Just once I'd like to see a little emotion out of him to try an jack the players up.

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Wish Les had a little of that ...

He needs someone to tell him what's going on most of the time.

Les let one rip in the 3rd qtr. Notice how no one was standing around him

Les doesn't believe in actually coaching during games.

i am a Les fan...but i certainly wish that he would show that kind of emotion. i understand you are dealing with young players, but they need to fear the consequences of sloppy play. it is like parents with their children. you need to be the adult, not their friend!

One of my main gripes of Les

But Saban goes overboard. Would you want to be castigated like that on national TV for being human? Saban never tolorated imperfection. He played collage ball, did he play in the pros? He should have since he is so perfect.

Les would let his assistants do that, but he lost his only one with any balls, Bo Pelini.

When Miles was winning the last couple of yrs, most people here talked about how he had the 'human' and 'compassionate' approach as opposed to the ogre that Saban is/was.
It's amazing how perceptions change after a bad season.

Totally agree with you. There has to be consequences for a lack of discipline. Les should get on players for making bonehead plays.

Some of you need to learn when to shut up about Saban.
His team is undefeated and #1. We are 7-5 and one nailbiter away from a trip to Shreveport.
