7 teams within 6 points of the top spot in the league with 7-9 games to go
Even though the only spot up for grabs is East WC2, basically no playoff matchups are "set" with all the nightly position shuffling

Avs probably just lost the Central by losing to the shitty Blue Jackets last night. Can't lose to Montreal and Columbus in the same week with Dallas on the roll they're on.
Now for a really difficult closing run. Hopefully they can keep the second spot in the Central. Some really good teams will be out the first round no matter what the matchups are, especially in the West.
