what else is amazing is that we have one sub-par season after winning it all last year and tits like you want to fire the head coach without giving him a chance to fix the problems at hand.

I am an lsu stockholder: taf, season tix, etc. We should expect better return on a 4 mil investment. We have recruited as well as anyone on defense and we had a lot of upperclassmen see time. No excuse for the performance on d this year. Saban is a non-factor. Performance on the field stank, coaching stank, etc. That is the issue.

Last year he made the right calls to get us a national title. Good coaching in my opinion.

bullshite. He made terrible coaching decisions last year. The difference is he had the best talent of any team in the country. Superior talent overcame bad coaching last year.
That talent level wasn't there this year.
And unless Miles brings in the best talent in the country, seasons like this year will be the norm.
If that's what you want for LSU, then fine.
Being an LSU fan, I feel they deserve better.

Just making sure. Some people on this board will blindly defend him until we finish a season below .500. The discipline and attention to details has steadily declined since he took over, not to mention a horrible ability to manage a game.

Nailed it!
And because we want better for LSU, we're terrible fans.

So your saying because of talent, he made those crucial 4th down calls against florida? As I have said before, damn near every team in the SEC has "Great Talent". I want LSU to win every game, go undefeated every year, and win the NC every year. But unlike most of the people on this board, I know that a down year will happen and as long as it is corrected, ill stand behind the coach.

I'm saying bad coaching put the team in position to have to go for it time and time again on 4th down. It was superior talent that allowed us to convert those 4th down plays.

A bad year is losing close games with solid, disciplined effort.
That's NOT what we just experienced this year.

The crystal ball moron was holding up last year was by pure luck. His "GREAT" coaching ability all but blew it for LSU's run last year if not for the minor miracle upset of WVU. Two of the worst game play calling were the losses to KY and ARK. Just rewatch those games to see mediocre coaching at best.

Terrible, irrational post.

These are the indisputable facts:

3-5 in the SEC

1-5 in our last six SEC games

1-4 in our last five home SEC games

Defense ranked in the bottom quarter of the SEC

That's unacceptable.

There's the dilemna and the source of frustration. You can't very well fire a coach that just a year ago won the MNC.
Because of that, the program will continue to deteriorate under Miles.

Nice to see a rantard post reality instead of from a myopic P&G perspective. My wife and I have not been able to have a conversation regarding LSU, Miles and the pitiful product on the field this entire season and I have never been a supporter of him purportedly being a great coach. Too many instances of weak decision making/game planning during his LSU tenure.

More interestingly, what if he replaces 75% of his staff? What does that say about him hiring them and keeping them around the last couple of seasons?

He most definitely is a football coach. And he can be your coach for $17.95 plus shipping.

What a stupid fricking argument. Of course he gets praise when he does well and criticism when he fricks up. How complicated is that?

If he makes the corrections and is back in the hunt next year or the year after, are you still gonna be hating on him? Probably frickin not!

You're in fantasy land now. Anybody can say "if" anything. IF he does well in the future, then I'll go out on a limb and say he'll get credit for it. IF he runs the thing into the ground, he'll get criticized.

What the frick else would anyone expect? What the frick else would you want?

Ah, the first refuge of the idiotic coach apologists. Instead of accepting the risk and taking our chances on finding a good coach, we should just keep the bad one we've got now.

Wow. How fricking stupid are you?
