Starkville has put a lot of money and infrastructure into making it more of a college town. I enjoy when I visit there.

I wish Baton Rouge would do the same. Broome's MoveBR plan hasn't done anything except add caution left turn signals at some intersections and completely frick up the timing of the traffic signals on Bluebonnet and Essen. I swear that every time I go back to visit it gets worse, not better.

May not be a popular opinion, but Baton Rouge is not much of a college town. It is a city that happens to have a college located somewhere in its footprint.
Starkville, Oxford, Athens, and a number of other places are true college towns. If you have experienced those places, you’ll know what I mean.
