Centipede in front
centipede/st aug/bermuda all mixed in back
(cant wait for the bermuda to keep winning the battle in the backyard, its doing well)
My front yard was shite earlier this season after the frost. I started a post with pics.
I applied was 15-0-15 fertilizer earlier this spring. and MSM Turf in sprayer to all the weeds.
Now that the heat is not miserable, and we finally got rain, the yard is green again mostly. Looks good when mowed fresh (although the problem spot before has weeds)
question is what to apply? second round of 15-0-5 or some weed control? pre-emerge although I already got weeds? didnt know if I did more MSM to the weeds if the dead spots heading into fall/winter would be worse.
advice appreciated.

I like the 0-0-7 Lesco Stonewall pre emergent recommendation that I got from this board. I'll probably put that down this weekend. Just continue to spot treat the weeds you have now, but Pre emergent is more important.
The current weeds will die with the cold if you don't spot treat, and the pre emergent should reduce next year's weeds by at least 70%.
I'll defer on the fertilizer question, but we likely will have enough heat and sun to push that bermuda for another 4-6 weeks. Perhaps a fast release is in order?
Keep cutting frequently and short!
