Yeah. I had high upside on him. Picked him in 2 leagues.

Perhaps but he IS their lead back AND he has performed well in the past when Cook missed games. I definitely over valued him tho

I agree the talent is lacking, but the opportunity will still be there. And you had to see this game coming simply from the matchup. Eagles have the best Dline in the league and the Viking had two of their top olinemen out. There are maybe only 3 running back in the league who had a chance to turn in a productive rushing performance in this game
I sat Mattison for Addison in my flex this week, just based on the matchup. But I’m giving Mattison a few more weeks in hopes that the Vikings can get into more positive game scripts once they stop turning the ball over 4 times a game.
He won’t be an RB1. But I’m not giving up hope for a steady RB2 type season

I was always low on Mattison. Cook is a more talented back and most of his good weeks were due to one long td that he broke. Mattison doesn’t have that ability. Now I will say that this was a very tough matchup so better weeks are ahead but he isn’t a world beater.

I got him in 3 leagues, but wasn't that high on him. I just needed a RB and it always came down to Mattson, Cam, or Dobbins. I'll still take him over those 2. 
It was the Eagles brutal DL. He did ok week 1 and is always going to be TD dependent. If Jets doesn't fumble at the 1, perhaps he gets a TD last night and somewhat salvages his night.
Also, they are playing the Chargers next week. Gonna be a shootout with lots of scoring opportunities.
