The NFL is, as Namath put it... The Entertainment business, with metro media and drunken 52 yr old asshat Jet fans and Philly and Dallas and Boston and New Jersey.
Herbstreit was basically never around any of that and it really shows. He calls the games almost exactly the same. And that doesn't work.
