I dont even understand how deion could be viewed as having cut the line or anything. His playing acumen was probably worthy of getting the opportunity he had at Jackson State (a low level school with nothing to lose if it backfired) and what he pulled off there given their history was certainly worthy of the opportunity he was given at Colorado (another low level (competition wise), but bigger, program with not much to lose).

Im not arguing you directly, i get your point. I just dont understand why anyone would think that way.

yeah he stated at an hbcu and did well and then went to arguably the worst p5 program in the country and has breathed a bit of life into it. It's not like every coach in the country was clamoring for that shite job. Everyone pretty much laughed at how stupid he was to go there and now they aren't so sure what to think
