As far as this weeks concerned he didn’t ask norvell to run his mouth. Dudes a fricking idiot for saying something like that knowing it just pisses Deion off and he’ll find a way to use it to fuel his team.

A lot of people in this thread are upset at CU and Deion for the same reason Norvell was. It's cognitive dissonance.

The guy who takes his hat and glasses off because his mama taught him that way, worked his way up through the ranks is supposed to be the good guy. The braggart that got to skip the line is supposed to be the bad guy, and the bad guy shouldn't be rewarded.

When the "bad guy" wins it messes up people's entire perception of the world. Deion losing will be the universe making things right for them.

I dont even understand how deion could be viewed as having cut the line or anything. His playing acumen was probably worthy of getting the opportunity he had at Jackson State (a low level school with nothing to lose if it backfired) and what he pulled off there given their history was certainly worthy of the opportunity he was given at Colorado (another low level (competition wise), but bigger, program with not much to lose).

Im not arguing you directly, i get your point. I just dont understand why anyone would think that way.
