Don’t think for a second that MSU can’t play pass happy offense just because they’ve shown something different on film the past two games. I sure hope our staff doesn’t fall for that and not have a plan to defend a pass happy team come game time. They could very well switch it up on us and these teams do it all the time against LSU. For some reason we fall for it? I would be ready for both offenses bc they can absolutely do both.

Rogers is not that mobile. Unless they go quick passing to negate Smith and Perkins, he will be destroyed. They couldn't handle a 220lb DE from Arizona.

I also think the run defense problem is greatly exaggerated. The lead RB over there may get a 100, but Judkins got a 100 last year vs us and we ran Ole Miss out the building. Dart also had north of 250 passing if I recall.

These expectations are through the roof.

Let's take a look at the road games LSU played last year.

@ Auburn (5-7) - Koy Moore Special. Auburn up 17-0, LSU looked absolutely outmatched and AU fell apart right before halftime, then Moore handed us the game in the 2nd half.

@Florida (6-7) - Back and forth game. Defense looked lost to start, then LSU stormed forward with 28 straight.

@Arkansas (7-6) - Arkansas without KJ Jefferson. LSU played conservative and still had 2 turnovers and Arkansas still had the ball with the chance to take the lead 3 times in the 4th Q. Perkins rules the day.

@aTm (5-7) - 275 rushing yards for aTm. Similar to the FSU game this year. Competitive game then just fell apart in the 2nd half.

None of these teams were any good and LSU struggled with all of them.
