Injuries rarely prevent stars from still getting a big payday in the NBA. We still traded for BI even with there still being some doubts about his blood clot issue.

Granted, he is an all-time great, but KD still got the bag after an achillies, which is usually a death sentence for an athlete to return to peak form.
