Perhaps, but if teams continue to pass on us at will, and we keep arm tackling people, being out of position, looking confused and discombobulated on defense then we will not be able to put our young offense in a position to win. That's one thing we have had in the recent past which has kept us in games, a stellar defense, and you didn't have that this year. LSU scored enough points to win or put us in a position to win most all our games, save Ole Miss, but our Defense has really let us down, surrendering more points that I can ever remember our defense giving up in a really long time, more so our Defensive coaching which has caused all these blank looks on the faces of our players.

Good post Mike. I hope you are right and agree that if Les dumps the DCs and gets a proven guy, we will probably stay on track. I am worried that he is too stubborn to make the move and if so, here comes the roller coaster you referred to.

if tackling and coverage skills don't improve, Joe Montana wouldn't be able to make enough of a difference...
