I guarantee you that if she had come in wishing to have an arm or a leg removed because she identified as an amputee, there would have been absolutely zero rush by doctors to remove a limb. They probably would have recommended counseling and strongly pushed her to reconsider if not flat out refused to perform the surgery.

This right here. Groomer doctors are pushing and doing these unnecessary procedures for financial gain. Do you think they would provide a lap-band surgery to skinny anorexic patient who identified as being fat? No they wouldn’t. But let a confused child come to them, straight to the knife that minor patient goes. Why? They just became a patient for life
