Even he said 20+ years ago they were outdated, especially in the south. They had one guy that was incompetent that was paid way more than his worth to do BS work because of seniority and it’s hard to fire


I don't know about that.

My dad worked for a huge player in petrochem. 37 years in 1 plant, minus some trips they sent him on to other plants to teach others.

He'd be hard pressed to ever say anything bad about his employer, but even he said that without his unions support he would have suffered consequences for some of the safety stand-downs he initiated.

Companies care about safety big time.......












Until it affects their profits.

Could be plant by plant — most of the ones he worked at would be all in your arse over safety. Feel like I’ve known about OSHA violations since I was 8. As an aside, despite never working in a facility myself, between my dad, the area I grew up in, etc, I fully understand everything going on in the Refined cartoon. Especially that pig nosed fricker.
