I have a mini Australian Shepherd and she is amazing with my kids. My only issue with her is that she tries to protect the house too often. By protect the house I mean snap at strangers if they try to pet her. She never has this issue on walks or anywhere in public, only at our house.

I have a buddy who had an Aussie. It snipped at me once so I bit him back on his ear. He was my padnuh after that.
